Yes, safe to say there’s nothing not to like about The Red House. A jewel in Highclere’s catering crown there is literally nowhere else I’d rather be when it comes to going out. Whether it’s a quick sharpener while I’m waiting for James to finish his tennis lesson in Woolton Hill, or enjoying a slap up meal with friends – there’s nothing The Red House can’t do.

From handmade pizzas (eat in or takeaway), to fillet steaks, everything is cooked to perfection. Sunday roasts (and it really hurts me to type this), better than anything I’m capable of. You can go posh in the restaurant, or chill out by the bar, this pub is small but mighty.

And for an extra treat, there’s the most fantastic organic vegetable store literally in the carpark, so you can stock up with some fresh essentials as well.

Win, win, win, win win.

Or to put it another way. ✅✅✅✅✅
